Former Boulder Councilman Plass Will Briefly Join Planning Board
Former Boulder Councilman Tim Plass, who lost his re-election bid in November, will take a temporary seat on the Planning Board to review the Rêve project at 30th Street and Pearl Parkway.
The project, which includes 250 housing units in four separate four- and five- story buildings, 100,000 square feet of office space and another 24,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, is coming forward for site review and rezoning on Jan. 28.
The seven-member Planning Board is already down a member with the departure of Aaron Brockett, who was elected to City Council in November. Another board member, Leonard May, has recused himself due to a conflict of interest. That leaves just five members. Four members are needed to form a quorum, and four members must vote for a project at site review for it to move forward.
